At Flone Initiative, we’re on a mission to revolutionize the public transport industry in Africa, making it not only convenient but safer for everyone, especially women commuters, professionals, and persons with disabilities. With operations spanning Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda, we’re dedicated to fostering gender equity and inclusion within the transport sector.

Flone Initiative is a women-led organization working towards the creation of safe, sustainable and accessible public transportation spaces for women.

The conference brings together various stakeholders in transport for a better and safer transport system

This unique gathering of catalytic change-makers will bring together leaders and pioneers from research, practitioners, government and the non-profit sector to move forward specific and tangible ideas towards action.

What happens each year is transformational: a diverse and talented set of people spends three days in deep conversations, getting to insights and innovations, finding ways to collaborate, connecting dots, and clarifying our path forward.
