Gender Policy Tracker
Flone Initiative, in collaboration with the Government of Makueni County and other stakeholders, has developed a Gender Policy Tracker to monitor the implementation of gender-responsive policies within the public transport sector.
Purpose of the Tracker
The Gender Policy Tracker will provide a single digital platform through which the County Government, public transport SACCOs, and members of the public can assess gender responsiveness within public transport and urban mobility systems. The tracker is intended to function as both a monitoring and learning tool, helping the County to identify strengths, address gaps, and improve gender responsiveness across the public transport sector.
The system will enable users to:
- Complete assessments online.
- Automatically calculate scores.
- Display assessment results through dashboards.
- Generate downloadable reports.
- Monitor changes over time.
- Support evidence-based policy and planning.
