We at Flone Initiative are a women-led organization committed to transforming public transportation systems in Africa, making them safer, more inclusive, and accessible for women, youth, persons with disabilities, children, and other vulnerable groups.

  4. To strengthen Public Transport organizations’ capacity to advocate for inclusion in public transport

Research And Knowledge Generation

To conduct research and generate new evidence to bridge the data gap between public transport service providers, policy and users.

  1. Conduct social and applied research on public transport in Kenya and the region
  2. Promote implementation of research recommendations
  3. Effective dissemination of research activities
  4. Build organizational capacity to carry out research
