CALL FOR E-MOBILITY COMPANIES – SIGN UP TO RECEIVE TECHNICAL SUPPORT ON GENDER & DISABILITY INCLUSION
Empower Her Mobility – Enhancing Inclusion & Skills in Sustainable Transport Project.
Flone Initiative, in partnership with the Women for the Green Transformation in Africa (WE4D) Programme, commissioned by the German Government and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, is seeking medium-sized e-mobility companies (50–250 employees) to join the Empower Her Mobility project.
This initiative will strengthen your company’s capacity to attract, retain, and advance women professionals while creating a more gender-equitable and disability-inclusive workplace in Kenya’s fast-growing e-mobility sector.
Support Offered
Flone invites submissions from e-mobility companies to receive technical support in their journey towards gender and disability responsiveness. The support will include:
- Reviews and audit of soft infrastructure (internal policies, workplace culture, and practices).
- Physical infrastructure audit (facilities, amenities, and vehicles).
- Technical and financial support to implement audit findings and recommendations.

- Training of Trainers (ToT) + sensitization of at least 70 staff.
- Support to implement priority interventions (co-financed with your company).

What We Are Looking For
E-mobility companies with a viable product in the market or planning to launch a new product by December 2025, including:
- EV assembly companies.
- Charging infrastructure providers.
- Companies offering EV credit/asset financing.
- Courier & delivery companies using EVs.
- Public passenger transport SACCOs transitioning to e-mobility.
We are especially interested in companies that:
- Lack technical expertise to enhance gender and disability responsiveness.
- Show commitment to allocate budgets and continuously advance inclusivity in operations and management.
